A Valued Opinion…
We always ask our clients for feedback to make sure we’re hitting the mark and to make sure they’re happy with our service. This one was so lovely we thought we’d share it with you in its full glory and dedicate a whole blog post to it.
From: Tony Elliot, Managing Director at Victoire Press:
“We’ve been working with Jo and the team for nearly a year now and it’s easy to see a lot of changes have happened over that year – and all changes for the good!
We knew we wanted to reach a bigger market. But it wasn’t only about reaching a new market; we also realised how important it is to communicate with the customers we already have.
With regular customer comments along the lines of: “I didn’t know you did that” or “I didn’t know that was available”, we began to realise that our customers didn’t know or understand what our full capabilities were. We needed to start some communication channels.
Although we’d tried to do this before, the pressures of work and time-constraints our efforts had always been a little half-hearted and inconsistent.
Getting Jo involved meant that we could rely on someone organising this for us.
Firstly, Jo scheduled in a whole range of promotional ideas into her calendar, which she would do on our behalf. So we set dates for our newsletter, our e-shots, our blog, our Facebook postings, our Tweets, etc. Everything was planned and organised, we had deadlines to work to, and communication to our customers became regular and consistent. The mix of service is something that works so well for us.
At the same time as getting Jo involved we also completely re-branded the company, so we had a lot of fresh ideas to send out to our customers, and their feedback was very encouraging. They like to know we are thinking about them, and they like the communication that they are now receiving. This positive feedback is very encouraging, and one of the reasons why we are still happy to continue to work with Jo today, even though we initially only really intended to do this for a few months!
Jo doesn’t do everything for us; we still manage some things in-house, but this means that we still have full control and flexibility over what we want going out and when. Jo always checks everything by us before sending it out, which means we maintain our own style and our own ideas are conveyed how we want them to be. There’s no pressure from Jo to do (or not do!) something, so we dictate the terms, and Jo is always flexible to our wants and needs, never overstepping the mark.
We’ve agreed a maximum monthly retainer, and Jo works within our budget. She also chases us up when we’re not sticking to the deadlines we’ve set, which is just what we need!
Jo’s helped us to forge some good habits, and she’s also helped us think of some great ideas. Jo’s always very enthusiastic coming into our workplace, and often picks up on interesting ideas that we ourselves wouldn’t think were interesting! When you work with something every day sometimes you stop noticing how unique it is, and how interesting it can be to other people. And our customers seem to be enjoying what we’re sharing with them!
